    The apple having been thrown out of Olympus by Zeus is picked up by Paris, prince of Troy. Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite all showed up offering him prizes for the apple. He picked Aphrodite and got to be with the most beautiful woman in the world.

    Paris goes to visit King Menelaus of Sparta
    The prince of Troy goes to Sparta to collect his prize, the wife of King Menelaus, Helen. He kidnaps her and takes her back to Troy.

    Because of the kidnapping, Menelaus convinces his brother, Agamemnon, king of Mycenae to lead an expedition to retrieve her. Consisting of greek heroes Achilles, Odysseus, Nestor and Ajax accompanied by a fleet of 1,000 ships.

    After ten years of fighting, Odysseus with the help of Athena built a wooden horse as a "gift" for the trojans to show that they won. The Trojans accepted the gift anf brought it into their gates, unbeknownst to them the horse was filled with greek and spartan soldiers including Odysseus.

    The Trojan Horse (Pt 2)
    The Trojans thinking they won started partying with all the soldiers drinking heavily. Later that evening the greeks sprung their trap and opened the main gates to let the rest of their army in. The Greeks easily won against the inebriated Trojans and soon laid waste to the city thus marking the end of the ten year war.
