    Menelous Rounds Up Greek

    Trying to get Helen back form Paris, Menelous rounds up the Greeks to attack.

    Odysseus and Achilles Hide

    Odysseus tried to avoid the Trojan War by pretending he was insane. Achilles mother forced him to hide as a woman. Both were caught and forced to fight, however.

    The Trojans briefly Winning

    This was after a fight between Agamemnon and Achilles over giving back Chryseis back to er father, an oracle of Apollo.

    Chryseis is Given Back

    They are told that there is no way they will win the war if they do not give her back, so the leaders decide to comply.

    Agamenon takes Briseis

    Angered that Cheyseis was taken from him, Agamenon takes Briseis from Achilles. Achilles gets angry and leaves the army.

    Thetis Goes to Zeus

    Thetis asks Zeus to end the war, in favor of Trojans.

    Agemenon's Dream

    The dream is about a battle where Menelaus and Paris fight. Paris runs away. The war was said to be over, and won by the Greeks. Hera was not satisfied, she wants Troy destroyed. So she gets Athena to convice a Trojan to shoot an arrow at the Greeks, starting the war again.

    Zeus's Plan

    To end the war, Zeus plans to send Agemenon a dream where Agemenon attacks without Achilles, and loses.

    Hera is Angry

    The Greek diomedes kill many Trojans until he fights with Hector who is with Ares. Hera gets angry at Ares, so she goes to earth and tells Diomedes to fight Ares. Diomedes injures Ares,and the Trojans to fall back.

    Greeks are Defeated

    Hector leads Trojan into a battle with Zues's help, and Greeks are defeated.

    Greeks Continue to Lose

    The Greeks continue to lose, and their defeat seems probable.

    Apollo Helps Hector, and then Revenge

    Appollo gives Hector special powers. Achille's best friend fights for the Greeks, but is killed by Hector. Achilles swears to get revenge, and Thetis has Hepaestus make Achilles a special suit of armour. Hector is not good enough for Achilles rage or fighting skills, so he is killed.

    Achilles is Shot

    Achilles fights one more time for Greeks, before he is shot in the foot, the only place he could be hurt.

    Hera Takes Over

    Seeing the Greeks losing makes her angry, so she makes Zeus fall asleep. While he is sleeping, he allows Ajax, a Greek, to throw Hector to the ground, making the Trojans easily defeatable. Zeus wakes up and tturns in favor of Trojans.

    Odysseus Steals Prophet

    Odysseus steals a phrophet who tells the Greeks that they will not win the war unless they fight with the bow and arrow of Hercules. The Greeks retrives it and Pyruhus kills Paris with them.

    Greeks steal Picture, Odysseus Makes Plan

    The Greeks steal an adored picture of Athena to win war, and become determined, so Odysseus makes a plan to sneak Greeks in and suprise Trojans. His plan is to build a hollow wooden horse in which the Greeks would hde in.

    Horse enters Troy and They are Attacked

    The Greeks pretend to sail away in defeat, Sinon tells story to get the horse into Troy. In the middle of the night Greeks come out of the horse, burning and destroying Troy. Troy is destroyed.
  • King Pelius and Thetis Wed

    However, they didn't invite Eris, the goddess of Discord. Out of spite she threw a golden apple intended for the most beautiful goddess. This started an argument between the goddess, eventually the most beautiful were decided to be Athena, Aphrodite, and Hera. Zues refused to choose between the three, and sent them to Paris, to be judged.
