The scary moring(Lexington)
What happend here was the first battle and it could of probably been avoided if only the somone didnt shot their weapon. could of been going through another way but it didnt. Either way what happened here was when the troops arrived in Lexington and then they saw 70 colonist with their rifles which of course started their battle which 8 men were killed 10 where injured and only one soldier was injured. -
The meeting in Philadelphia
Colonist leaders went to Philadelphia to go and talk about their next moves which was called the continental congress. which of coursed ended with so many things to argue about in that room which some were about restoring the friendship with great Brittany and others were about independence. The good thing about that continental debate team was in fact the militia was the official continental army and that George Washington was gonna be their commander. -
They say not too give up
It was a heavy and bloody battle which Gage sent 2,400 british troops to the hill, Which of course the Minutemen helded their spot till the very last minit which then the mow- down of the brittish trooops happend and with this we could understand that the brittish had lost over 1,000 trrops and the militia had only lost for 450 troops. I found amazing but at the same time remembered that it could of all been just been found another way then just war. -
The birds are scared now
The British brought in 32,000 soldiers and then thousands of mercenaries and hired soldiers. Which they took ahold of New York and by doing this we could see that the Colonist would try to hold on too New York but ended up getting pushed back too Pennsylvania and then George washington leading men of 2,400 across the delaware river and fighting the british troops. -
Trenton- The underdogs
George washington came and went with around 2,400 soldiers to go and fight the british soldiers which took hold of New york and took many surprised attacked to the british troops. -
Seratogan the helpless battle
What happen in here was that the british general was marching too met up with another the british troops to be able too go and surround the new england for a greater advantage point for the war. This did not happen because the british trooped was holded off with the battle of pennsylvania and the troops were surrounded by the colonist which ended up giving up Saratoga on octorber 17, 1777 -
Marquis De Lafayette A good giving hand.
Which he cam and went to Valley forge to go and help the Continental army become a more fierce army or just a better army in total. While doing this in 1779 Marquis De Lafayette waited for reinforcement to gather up men and ship them off to Americas which help a lot in the war. -
Valleyforge the suffering of the brave
While the french army were going to be coming soon too be able to aid the colonist because of the belief that the Americans could actually win this war they went and made a alliance with each other and came to the rescue which in valley forge the soldiers were low in supply and in resources and more than 2,000 soldiers died because of these low cost of food and because of the cold. -
The Battle of Yorktown
A moment were the world got shock because of how the Colonist also known as the United States were taking over their own independent which Lafayette and george washington withheld yorktown and then the navel day which bombarded them for days and night. Then after a month later Cornwallis finally surrounded and then that is when war ended for now. -
THE TREATY OF PARIS
This Treaty was able to confirm that the United States is able to be a Independent Country which set the boundaries in which the united states holds and what specific locations sets the boundaries.
