Lexington had been working on militia to help defend their city. met the britsh at 5 am in lexington as a supirse attack. the first shot was fired. they say noone know who shot. they peolpe of lexinton moved to concord. and thats the start of the war. This took place in Lexington and Concord. -

In the summer of 1775 the continental congress met in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. This is where they made the raft draft of the Declaration of Independence. This is where they brought there ideas into a document. -
Bunker Hill
The battle of Bunker hill was actully taken place on Breeds hill. also nown as battle of Breeds hill. The Patiots went to Breeds hill thinking it was Bunker hill. Wich was much closer to the Red Coats camp. Bunker hill and breeds hill is located in Charlestown Massachusetts. -
Crossing the Delaware
On Christmas night George Washington dicided that it would be the prefect time to do a suprise attack , so they left . Most of the solders didn't have shoes ,or socks ,blankts, coats to cross the freezing river. this located in Trenton New Jersey. -
Battle of Saratoga
The britsh take over most of New York . The britsh were coming up the river heading to Sartoga and Albany . The britsh got stuck on the other side of the river from a huge strom. THis battle took place in Saratogo and Albany New York. -
Valley Forge
In Valley Forge the solders built 2,000 cabens. They started on December 19 1777 and finaly got done on somtime in Feburay of 1778. When they got done they got small pox. Thousand died onley 50 lived ether from them already haveing the small pox . Or also a natraul immunizations. This took place in Valley Forge Pennsylvania. -

The French join the Patiorts in the war. The Britsh blocketed the French ships coming in to give food and supplies. The French join in 1775-1783. -
Battle of Cowpens
This was a major victory for the American. the Battle took place in cherokee country in North Carolina. it was a turning point for the British army. -
Battle of Guilford Courthouse
This battle was fought in Greensboro North Carolina. This battle had 2,000 Britsh solders and 4,000 American solders. And a great Victory for the America. -

The Battle of Yorktown aslo nown as the Surrender of Yorktown took place in September 28 1781 - October 19 1781 inYyorktown Virginia. This was the last battle of the Revolutionary war. and a great victory for America. -

Genral Cornwallis sent His two solders in comand to surrender to George Washington. This took place in Yorktown Virignia. -
Treaty of Paris
George Washington sent John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and John Jay. as repersenative for America. this is where they devided what France got. what Spain got and what the Dutch republic got.
