    Before the revolutionary war broke out, a church in boston had lights which showed the patriots that the redcoats were on their way. The redcoats wanted weapons from concord so they crossed the river to charles town. When the patriots knew they were coming,some of them went out to warn people. One of them was a man known as Paul Revere.

    This was the second and most bloodiest battle of the Revolutionary War. It started when Militiamen made a fort overlooking the Boston Harbor. They went into war and the Militiamen ran out of gun powder, so the British won.

    A month after the American defeat in Bunker Hill, General Washington took command of the militias around Boston. His plan was to drive the redcoats from the city if Britain refused to accept America's offer of peace

    When George Washington learned that the King declared war on all the colonies, Washington went into action. He gave his troops orders to have many cannons brought from far-off Fort Ticonderoga. The only way he could do that was to wait for snow in order to drag the heavy cannons on sleds to Boston. By March, the cannons were ready and were pointed directly toward the enemy. Realizing that they had been trapped and outsmarted, the British dumped their own cannons into the harbor and sailed off.

This document was known as the most famous historical document. The document said that all men were born with a certain kind of rights and to be treated equally. it also said that britan had taken away some rights and declared america to be independent.

    British soldiers hired Hessians, or German troops, to attack New York City. After a lot of fighting, Briaish soldiers chased Washington's army to Pennsylvania.
