    Frederick Douglass was not Frederick's name at birth, it was Frederick Augustus Washington Bailey.In order to hide from the slaveholders, he had to change his name to Frederick Douglass.

    Frederick Douglass was sent to baltimore to work over there for a while. His recent owners have passed away so now he is working for Hugh Auld, but the trick is that Hugh is teaching Frederick things that he shouldn't know.

    Sophina Auld was a very decent girl who had a very warm heart. She agreed to teach Frederick his letters, but Hugh Auld didn't agree to this. Right away he stopped this little teaching session.

    He was tired of all of the beating and all the hard labor he had to do. Hed decied that one of those days he was just going to run away and leave all the bad memories behind, unfortanely thats nto how it happened. His plan was dicovered and he was caught tring to escape.

    He met the love on his life Anna Murray. he never thought that he could meet a decent lady until he met her. They fell in love right away. She didn't care if he what kind of condition he was in, she loved him anyways.

    On one try of freedom, he ecsaped from all of those harsh times. he went to New York City and he took his girlfreind with him. There the got married and lived a happy life without slavery.

    In New Your City his first child in born. He decied that it was time for him to act like a normal man, like if hadn't beed put throught anything, and goes to get a newpaper. He liked that newspaper alot.

  • Frederick's son Lewis Henry (1840 - 1908) is born

    From the first child to the second child, Frederick's second child comes amd joins the family. Only this time it is not a girl but a boy.

  • Frederick's second son Frederick Douglass, Jr. (1842 - 1892) is born.

    Frederick Douglass liked the feeling of having children. his thrid son cam ealong and Frederick decided to name this on after himself, Frederick Douglass Jr.

    As time passes by, more and more children join the Douglass family. So far there is Rosetta, Lewis Henry, Frederick Jr., and Charles.

  • Frederick Douglass passes away.

    Frederick Douglass has been through alot. He went throgh beating, slavery, family seperation, deaths, failed escapes,etc. He stayed strong throught the whole thing. I will always respect him and he will never be forgotten.
