    It is believed that Sentinelese arrived to their island more than 60 000 years ago from Africa, its probably that they are descendants of the first human groups

    The first confirmed contact was in 1867 when an indian comercial ship called Neneva shipwrecked at the coast, more than 100 people survived and they stayed some days waiting for been rescued but they were attacked by the Sentinelese.
    Around 70 people survived figthing with rocks and sticks against the Sentinelese and after that they were rescued.

    The headmaster of the British Raj Maurice Vidal Portman, led an expedition to the island accompanied by two aborigines as guide
    He kidnapped four Sentineleses taking them to Port Blair, capital of Adaman and Nicobar Islands

    After a few months the old couple died from exposure to modern germs, because they did not have enough immunity.
    The two kids were fastly returned to their island with gifts in compesation of the damages.
    Maurice decided to leave the island alone.

    A prisoner who escaped from a Port Blair jail arrived to the coast in 1896, eventually the natives shot arrows at him and he died

    An indian anthropologist called Triloknath Pandit arrived to the island, but he did'nt find anyone, he found houses apparently abandoned and he left candies and cloths as gift, and took some items to study.

    Two years later, a group of anthropologists visited the coast to film a documental leaving kitchen utensils, coconuts and a doll but they were attacked twice, and they decided to stop filming.

    A ship called Primrose shipwrecked at the coast, the crew was relieved to hit ground again but that relief didnt last long, as they were attacked by the Sentinelese, they defended with an axe and a flare gun, eventually they were rescued by the Indian navy

    The anthropologist Pandit keeps visiting the island for a long time, untill 1991 he got a friendly meeting, distributing coconuts, which although they do not grow on the island, it seems that the locals like it. After that the Indian goverment prohibeted visiting the island

    After a few days of the Tsunami of 2004 the Indian goverment send a helicopter to check the island. Surprisingly the locals were not affected and as usually they shoot arrows against the hellicopter.

    Two fishermen get drunk and they fall asleep in their boat, deviating to the island, where the Sentinelese shot them as soon as they saw them. After the incident the Indian goverment established a three-mile exclusion zone around the island

    The most recently contact were in 2018, when an American missionary called John Allen Chau, wanted to take them his religion, ilegally, he paid some fishermen to get him closer
    Eventually Sentinelese people just killed him.
