The beginning
Clary wants to go to Idris with the rest of the shadowhunters, but Jace will not allow it, and they leave without her. -

Part one
Clary creates a portal and goes through, to get to Idris. Luke (her "dad") follows her. Together they must get to the main town before Clary dies of swallowing the sacred lake water. -
Part two
Simon( who went through the portal with the shadow hunters by accident) must be sent back the Brooklyn. There had never been a vampire in Idris before. When he gets there, he is not suprised to find out that he will not be leaving at all. He will be experimented on. Why wouldn't he be? After all, he is the only vampire ever to be able to walk in the sunlight. Meanwhile, Luke brings Clary to safety to be healed. -
Part three
Clary's mom has been under a spell for some time now. The whole reason that she came to Idris was to find the Warlock who put her under the spell. Jace, Isabelle, and Alec meet up with their cousins. Isabelle finds out that Clary is in Idris and knows that Jace will be very upset when he finds out. Well after all, they are brother and sister... -
Part four
Sabastion( Isabelle, Alec, and Jace's cousin) helps Clary find the magical wizard. Clary goes only to find out that the wizard is Magnas Bane (Alec's boyfriend). Magnas tells Clary that he needs the book od White to break the spell. He tells Clary where to find it. She knows that the only person who can get into the house is Jace. She knows though, that even though Jace is cross with her for comeing, he will do anything for her. -
Part five
Jace and Clary have to go by horse to the family mannor. But Clary finds that it would be easier to just portal there. They land in a library. Right away Jace and Clary know where to look. The only cookbook in the whole library. -
Part six
Jace remembers that he was never able to touch some of the books in the library. Clary pulls one down. It lands with a loud thump. She pulls another one down. This time Jace pulls one down. This time, the sound of cement sounds through the walls. The wall opens revealing a long dark staircase. -
Part seven
They descide to go down. At the bottom they find a door. They go in. There they find a bloody creature. It spoke into Clary's head. That could only mean one thing. It was an angel. It showed Clary and Jace a child who was given demon blood. Then a child being given angel blood. That was what this poor angel was doing down there. Valentine,their father, had tortured it. Clary and Jace realize that the children were them. -
Part eight
Isabelle in the mean time was at home. But something is wrong. Her little brother, Max, thinks that he sees someone climbing up the demon tower. Isabelle doesn't believe him. Sabastian comes into the house clearly worn out. "I'm sorry" was all he said. -
Part nine
When Clary and Jace get back from the mannor, Jace looks worried. When they get to the lookout, there is a large fire burning Idris. There is a giant shadow looming over the town. It was quite a sight to see. Jace and Clary get own only to see Sabastian fleeing. Jace decides to go after him. -
Part ten
Clary goes to the main house only to find the Lightwoods crying. Max is dead. Isabelle says that Sabastian knocked her out and then killed him. As Clary stands over Max, she sees how young he is. She thinks of the wonderful life he could of lived. Mayrse Lightwood tells Sabastian's mom about what he had done. She is very upset. She sends them pictures of her son. They don't look like the Sabastian that they had just been with not even an hour ago. -
Part eleven
Jace is hot on Sabastians trail. He can sence his presence. In Idris, the fight is over, for now. Valentine wants to give them until midnight to accept his offer of becomeing part of his race. The calve votes and says NO. Clary Is back at the house she has been staying at. There is a knock on the door, and a farmiliar voice says "may I come in?" A slender figure walks in. She has read hair. For a second she can't tell who it is. Then it hits her like a slap across the face...it's her mother. -
Part twelve
Jace sees one of his dad's birds. It flys into a whole in the mountain towering above him. He assumes that that is where Sabastian and his father are. In Idris Clary refuses to let the calve surrender. She comes up with a rune in her mind that will bind downworlders (vampires, warlocks, farries, and warewolves) to the shadowhunters. They could use the speed, strenght, and fighting skills to help win the war. The clave says yes. Everyone finds a partner, and it begins. -
Part thirteen
Jace makes it to the cave to find his father and Sabastian. He finds out that he and Clary are not brother and sister. Sabastian and Clary are. They know how to summon the Angel Raziel. Valantine goes. Sabastian and Jace begin to fight. They take it all the way to the water. Finally Sabastian stabs Jace through the heart. Clary had just shown up. She was too late. She sneaks up behind Sabastian, and stabs him. Valantine has summoned the angel. The great Raziel rises out of the water. -
End
The shadowhunters won the war! But they lost many people in the battle. Raziel kills Valentine for asking for such a proposterous task. He moves toward Clary. He asks her what her one wish is. All she can get out is a simple word, "Jace". The next moment, the angel is gone, and Jace is breathing again. The Shadowhunters have a victory party. But now Jace and Clary have a dark secret that they must never tell anyone.
