    Frederick Douglass was not his real name. His birth name is: Frederick Augustus Washington Bailey.He was not sure of his birthdate or year.This was becasue he was born a slave. Frederick was born in Tuckahoe His birth mother was Harriet Bailey. Also, his master and father was Aaron Anthony.

    In this year Frederick saw his mother for the last time. The exact date is unknown. Frederick use to sneak to where his mother was located. They got spilt up once he was born. The next year his mother passed away.

    He managed to escape slavery and migrate to New York. While he was there, he also got married to Anna Murray. Anna Murray was a free African American woman. He met her in Baltimore, which is located in Maryland. Not to long after he then changed his name into Frederick Douglass.

    He attended a convention of the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society. This is convention took place in Nantucket. The group soon then occupied him with the responsibilty as the agent. He was such a tremendous speaker. People doubted he had ever been a slave.

    Frederick soon becomes free once the british supporters acquisition his freedom from his former master, Hugh Auld. He then meets a man named Martin R. Delany. Martin wanted to work with Frederick and William Cooper on the North Star. The paper was printed in the bottom of a church. Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church to be exact. Some of the local citizens did not like that there was an African American news paper in their town.

    Frederick attended a woman''s conference at Senoca Falls, New York. The conference was held for advoates who wanted women to vote, Even though Anna did not have an education, she worked very hard. He met a women named Julia Griffiths. Frederick then brought her to their house to teach his kids and wife. Her teachings did not help. Anna remained uneducated until her passing.

    The North Star is changed into the Frederick Douglass' Newspaper. The reason is because the previous year he was attacked by the british.He was walking with two of his fellow lady friends. The paper helped three temporary slaves escape to Canada. Douglass helped three temporary slaves from murdering their masters.

    While the Civil War was proceeding, Frederick sustained that for the fifty-fourth and fifty-fifth Massachusettes Regiments, rucruit an African American. He frequently argued for the liberation of slaves.

    He then passed away on this day. From this day foward we know Frederick Douglass as a good man. He may not have been very wealthy, but he was wealthy in the things he strived to do. Frederick was a very commited man, Also, a very strong emotionally. Frederick Douglass will be remember forever.
