Kingdom reaches its full extent under the rule of Jayavarman VII. The empire cannot grow larger as it is already hard to manage.

1181 – 1215: Reign of Jayavarman VII, considered as the greatest Khmer king. He extends the territory of the empire and builds Bayon Temple.
