  • The first programmable computer

    In 1822, Charles Babbage made the first automatic computing engine that was capable of computing several sets of numbers and making a hard copies of the results. Unfortunately, because of funding he was never able to complete a full-scale functional version of this machine. In 1837 Charles Babbage proposed the first general mechanical computer, the Analytical Engine. Unfortunately this computer was also never built while Charles Babbage was alive.
  • The first computer game

    In 1947 The earliest known computer game was by Thomas T. Goldsmith Jr.The game was a missile simulator inspired by radar displays from World War II. It used analog circuitry, to control the CRT beam and position a dot on the screen. Screen overlays were used for targets since graphics could not be drawn at the time.
  • The first video game

    The earliest known electronic game was by Thomas T. Goldsmith Jr. and Estle Ray Mann on a cathode ray tube. The patent was filed on January 25, 1947 and issued on December 14, 1948.   • The first electronic computer

    The Colossus was the first electric computer and was made by Tommy Flowers and first used in December 1943. The Colossus was created to help the British code breakers read encrypted German messages.
  • World Wide Web

    Sir Timothy John "Tim" Berners-Lee is a British computer scientist, best known as the inventor of the World Wide Web.He made a proposal for an information management system in March 1989, and he made the first successful communication between a Hypertext Transfer Protocol client and server via the Internet sometime around mid November that year. In 2004, Berners-Lee was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his pioneering work.
  • The first DVD

    DVD is an optical disc storage format, invented and developed by Philips, Sony, Toshiba, and Panasonic in 1995. When first produced DVD was a shortened version of its long name which was digital video disc.
  • The first Nintendo console.

    Nintendo is a Japanese multinational consumer electronics company. Nintendo is the world's largest video game company. Founded on September 23, 1889by Fusajiro Yamauchi, it originally produced handmade hanafuda cards. By 1963, the company had tried several small niche businesses, such as cab services and love hotels.
    Abandoning previous ventures, Nintendo developed into a video game company, becoming one of the most influential in the industry.
  • The first Xbox console.

    The Xbox is a video game console manufactured by Microsoft. It was released on November 15, 2001 in North America, February 22, 2002 in Japan, and March 14, 2002 in Australia and Europe. It was Microsoft's first foray into the gaming console market.
    The integrated Xbox Live service launched in November 2002 allowed players to play games online with a broadband connection. Xbox's successor, the Xbox 360, was launched in November 2005
  • Facebook Invented

    Facebook was invented by Harvard computer science student Mark Zuckerberg,with his computer and science skills he created a website called Facebook. He did this by hacking into Harvard's security network and where he copied the student ID images and used them to populate his Facemash website.
  • When was youtube invented.

    YouTube is a video-sharing website, created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005, on which users can upload, view and share videos.The company is based in San Bruno, California, and uses Adobe Flash Video and HTML5 technology to display a wide variety of user-generated video content, including movie clips, TV clips, and music videos, as well as amateur content such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos.
  • When was Twitter invented?

    Twitter is an online social networking service that enables its users to send and read text-based messages of up to 140 characters, known as "tweets".Twitter was created in March 2006 by Jack Dorsey and by July, the social networking site was launched.The service rapidly gained worldwide popularity, with over 500 million registered users as of 2012, generating over 340 million tweets daily.
  • The first iPhone

    Steve Jobs was founder and creator of Apple and iPhone but the man that actually made the first iPhone was called Jonathan Ive. On 29th 2007 Steve Jobs announced the iPhone at the Macworld convention and was said to be released later that year.
    On June 29, 2007, Apple released version 7.3 of iTunes to go with the new iPhone.
  • Instagram

    Instagram is an online photo-sharing and social networking service that lets its users take pictures, apply digital filters to them, and share them on a variety of social networking services, such as Facebook or Twitter. A distinctive feature is that it confines photos to a square shape, similar to Kodak Instamatic and Polaroid images.Instagram was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger and launched in October 2010.
  • Tumblr

    Tumblr is a blogging platform and social networking website, The service allows users to post multimedia and other content to a short-form blog. Users can follow other users' blogs, as well as make their blogs private. Tumblr was launched in February 2007 and As of April 2013, Tumblr has over 102 million blogs.
  • The Future iPhone

    According to the patent document, buttons in iPhones as well as other devices featuring this patented technology will remain hidden by default and appear only when needed. These controls will be made using the same material as casing of the device so that they are not visible and will be "selectively backlit through tiny holes." They will also get activated upon sensing heat, sound or motion of fingers along the surface.
  • The future blackberry

    Blackberry are now creating new phone, similar to other smartphones. This new blackberry is keyboard-less and just touch screen but still has all of the traditional blackberry features like BBM.
