    The first portable music device was introduced the Saehin / Eiger Labs engineers. Even though portable music devices before the MP3 had been around for awhile ( Cassette Players and Walkmens). The MP3 was the first portable device that required no additional disk. This technology has forever changed how we share and listen music.

    Youtube was founded by previous employees of PayPal in 2005. Youtube is a social media platform where users can upload,create,share, comment on and view videos. According to an article by Huffington Post there are currently 1 billion active users on Youtube (Huffington Post, 2016).

    In 2015, twitter reported 288 million monthly active users. Twitters coming of age was throughout the 2008 Mumbai Bombing.
