    When his dad moved too Krakow to get a better life for his family they were left alone. Leon goes around the city and explores many parts of it. When Hitler got his position his friends started discriminating him for being a jew. Character Development: Leon learns a positive impact that will probably continue until the war ends because he's a Jew. He needs to learn that while the war is on he and his family will be discriminated because there Jews.

    The Night of The Broken Glass
    Leon's family was robbed his dad tried to reason with the thugs. They took him. The next morning Leon's dad was in jail and no one knew which jail he was in so Leon's family didn't know where their father was at. Conditions quickly become worse, but Leon's father is released. This relates to the theme statement because there family got separated again because of his dad tried to come to an agreement with the thugs. Now there dad is in jail and can't support them in this horrible time.

    Things get even worse and Leon's family is moved into the Krakow ghetto, where living conditions are so bad that its hard enough just trying to walk through the streets. Leon's dad works with Schindler factory he comes back home with small amounts of food. Negative/Positive CD: Leon thought he had it the worst at his home when they got robbed and didn't have any food. But now that he's there it's even worse there's no food. Now I'm pretty sure he'd prefer to be in his old situation than now.

    After maybe a year of living in the ghetto, and after many deaths. Leon is forced to move to the Płaszów concentration camp. He was forced to do what the soldiers tell him to do. They were all separated. The people at the camp barely had any food so they almost were starved. Relates to theme statement because once again they got separated and this time none of them are together. They couldn't stick together or they would get beat but they still care for each other.
  • Schindler's Factory in Krakow

    Schindler's Factory in Krakow
    After a year and a couple months of living in the concentration camp, Leon and his family are employed by a man named Oscar Schindler. Their living conditions improve. Leon's name was crossed out on the list but the guard let him go any way. They were reunited once again. Positive CD: He's very grateful now that he doesn't have to live in the ghetto or a concentration camp. He hoped this would happen because now he gets decent amount of food. His family is also reunited.
  • Schindler's Factory in Brünnlitz

    Schindler's Factory in Brünnlitz
    Leon's dad was really close to Schindler so he convinced Schindler to take all his family. When the men arrived at Brünnlitz the women had not yet arrived. Later they were informed that the women were sent to a death camp but luckily they got to Brünnlitz. This relates to the theme statement because the family is reunited and is leaving Krakow were they had it the worst. They are really grateful for Oskar because they saved them from certain death and they don't have to starve anymore.
  • Finally Free

    Finally Free
    A Russian soldier told them they were free and that they cold go back home. Oskar Schindler saved them and nearly 1,200 Jews from death. When they went back to Krakow this time the cattle car had bunks and were better when they came to Brünnlitz. When they arrived they were still discriminated. Positive CD: His family is family released and can go back to living their life. He has to realize is that nothing is going to be the same because the people who supported Hitler still discriminate them.
