    Lexington and Concord Battles
    The Lexington and Concord battles were held in April,19,1775. The night before was the famous day when Paul Revere did his midnight ride around Boston warning the patriots that the British where coming. Thanks to his signal Patriots rounded up in Concord and defeated the British even though they had lost the battle at Lexington. After the war was over , 250 British soldiers and ninety Americans had been killed or wounded.

His plan was to drive the redcoats from the city if Britain refused to accept Americas offer of peace. American troops invaded British Canada but were defeated when they tried to capture the city of Quebec. By March of 1776, the cannons were in Boston and were 12 pointed directly at the enemy. The British dumped their cannons into the harbor and sailed off to safety of Canada.
