    The Battle of Lexington and Concord
    This battle was the first actual battle of the Reevolutionary war. The British and the American forces met face to face when they were instructed not to fight but to instead turn around and dispurse. As some of the soliders were doing so an unknown shot had been fired and this is what started the battle and the war.
  • The Battle of Chelsea Creek

    The Battle of Chelsea Creek
    This Battle takes place around Sufflok County, Massachusetts. Being only the second battle of the war it was farily important.The US colonies showed they would not be easily beaten buy pulling off the War's first Naval capture.
  • The Battle of Bunker Hill

    The Battle of Bunker Hill
    Taking place in Charlestown, this battle would be one of the most imoprtant for the US during the entire war. This battle would prove that not 1 single battle will determine who wins the war. The US soliders had learned that the British were planning to take Dochester Heights in Boston but the US wasnt about to let that happen. They were prepared to do anything to fight for their homeland.
  • The Battle of Trenton

    The Battle of Trenton
    Taking place in Trenton, New Jersey the American troops had walked into trenton and captured a copule of germans only to soon hear artillary landing which meant thast the British were there too. Being lead by Washington the Americans fought hard to win Trenton and Washinton would not have had it any other way.
  • The Battle of Saratoga

    Taking place in Saratoga, New York this battle was not one of the biggest, but it was still an importanat factor. Lasting only one day both sides lost about the same aqmount of men but in the end showed the American's that they could defeat the British and this gave them a great sense of pride and raised there spirits to a whole new level.
  • The Battle of Savannah

    Trying to make a defense in Savannah, Georgia the US army was backed into a corner. With just around 700 men they were trying to defend an attack of about 3,000 so to say they were out numbered is an understatement. They tried but failed and were forced out by the British.
  • The Battle of Charleston

    Taking place in Charleston, South Carolina this battle would prove to be a very hard fought battle. Being greatly out numbered in every shape and form this would be the US colonies biggest lost battle because of all the lost man power and equiptment. It also meant the British had control over most of the Southern areas.
  • The Battle of King's Mountain

    Being surrounded by patriot soldiers the british had put themselves into a hole. Being fired at by all directions the british began to fire back but was failing to hit anybody because the Patriots were in a well covered wooded area. After an hour of fighting the British lead general fell from his horse after being shot multiple times, that in itself signalized a win for the Patriots
  • The Battle of Cowpens

    Winning this battle in Cowpens, South Carolina would prove to be a vary important win for the American forces. Winning the battle gave the South Carolina land back to the Revolutionary forces. While the US only lost 25 to death they had a whopping 700 captured and still prevailed victorius.
  • The Battle of Yorktown

    Taking Place in Yourktown, Virginia the battle of Yorktown is probably the most known battle of the War. Coming in with over a 12 thousand man advantage the US army was looking good. With the US army overtaking the British General Cornwallis's army was forced to surrender and enter negotiations to end the long lasting war. America won and was no longer under kings rule.
