    In 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue. When columbus tried to reach India by sailing west but instead he ran right into the Bahamas. He was doing this voyage so he could expand Europes trade with India. But mistaking America for India he named the natives Indians. Later he got word that he didn't reach india

    Christopher Columbus

    Christipher Columbus was tring to expand European tradig route with its partner India. Believing that if he sailed west he could travel faster than if he was going north. When he made that journey he landed in today's bahamas. Mistaking to be in India he called the natives Indians. Later he found out that really he had landed in North America. He was so embarrassed that the king fu ded a trip that was mistaken to be successfull.

    In the Mexican colonization era Moses Austin was the first empressario to be able to claim land and colonize in the Mexican region. But he couldn't have done it without the help of governor and rancher Erasmo Seguin. He was going to settle 300 Anglo Americans in Texas.
