    Tv and VHS started becoming more of a technology used within the classroom. Students started benefiting from educational TV.
  • WhiteBoards

    Away with the chalkboards and on to the whiteboards! Classrooms started switching making it easier for students to view the board. This also helped students with dust allergies.
  • Overhead projector

    Teachers incorporated overhead projectors. Teachers were able to write notes alongside students while facing them and interacting with them.
  • Youtube

    Educational Youtube paved its way into classrooms. This helped teachers by allowing the use of short videos to add useful and fun content to their lectures.
  • Clickers

    Clickers started being used in classrooms as a fun interactive way students can learn.
  • Smartphones/Tablets

    Smartphones/Tablets
    More and more schools introduced tablets to everyday instruction. Students are able to learn while having a personal tablet to use.
  • Apps

    Apps became a new way of teaching. Students are able to log in to interactive apps and participate in a lesson.
  • Next Gen Promethean ActivPanels

    Next Gen Promethean ActivPanels
    SMART boards are slowly being replaced by large wireless LCD monitors. Similar to smart boards, they allow teachers to interact with students as well as show video content.
  • Google Classroom

    Google Classroom
    Google classroom changed the way students and teachers interact. Now teachers can give grades, post announcements and give assignments all through google classroom.
