  • First Permanent English Settlement in America

    The first permanent english settlement in America was founded in Jamestown Virginia by the London Company.
  • Slavery begins

    The first ship of Africans were brought ever by the Dutch, thus starting a vicious future that lays ahead.
  • Act of Toleration

    The Act of Toleration was created so no one has to practice a religion they don't agree with, but as long as they worship Jesus.
  • Navigation Acts

    All foreign goods that would be shipped to the colonies were ordered to be shipped to Britain so they could take them.
  • King Philip's War

    King Philip's war began when Metacon tried to keep his land from the English, but they all eventually got banned together. In the end Metacon was killed which caused the English to win.
  • Bacon's Rebellion

    After he was instructed not to, Bacon held a massive raid against the Susquehannocks and it resulted in a lot of them being murdered.
  • Pennsylvania

    The religiously tolerant colony of Pennsylvania was formed by William Penn. He wanted there to be housed that could be spread apart.
  • French Colonization

    The French got to the end of the Mississippi and claimed Louisiana. Louisiana at the time was filled with criminals because this is where they would get sent after committing a crime.
