This has affected my life because of how much I use the Internet. I use it pretty much every single day, and also multiples times each day. It has played a huge role in how I learn things and how I am able to interact and stay involved.

AOL is created

AOL is short for "American Online." My family had AOL for a short time of my childhood. We also ahd the dial up. I remember not being able to be on the Internet while someone was on the phone and thought nothing of it. That would sound crazy nowadays. I used it a lot for homework and entertainment.

AIM is Released

AIM (instant messaging) played a big role in my childhood. In lower grade school, it was one of the few ways to commuicate with friends over the computer after school. It is basically an email address, but with instant messaging with friends and profiles you could make.

This has had a huge impact on my life too. I currently have a Facebook and I have used it a decent amount. It helps me stay connected with family and friends far away, reminds me when it's someones birthday, and informs be about upcoming events.

Youtube is a social media site used to share videos. It can be factual, yet also humoruous. I persnally use Youtube very often. I use it as source of entertainment and often watch funny videos on it posted by friends and even by strangers.

This is a social media site that I use very much also. I use it just about every day and helps me stay in touch with friends. It allows me to share about my current life with friends, and also lets me see what my friends are up to.

This technology had one of the biggest impacts of all on my life. I use my Iphone for communication, research on the internet, entertainment, social media, and much more. I use it just about every single day too.

Apple Releases the Ipad

The Ipad is basically the Iphone, but enlarged and not a phone. It can very often be faster too. I like it because of the bigger screen, which sometimes makes it easier to work on and accomplis actual tasks on it.

I play Xbox a few times of week. It allows you to go online and interact in different games with your friends. You are able to play sports games and play as your favorite player, or play in action games on a mission.

Snapchat is an application for phones tha allows you to send second-long pictures, or snaps, of yourself to your friends. It's a means of communicating with your friends. I use it a lot too on my Iphone to communicate with friends.
