    First Apple iPhone Released to the public.

    Common Core Curriculum Standards Released
    Common Core Curriculum Standards were released under Barack Obama's Presidency on June 6, 2009. This was during my junior year of high school. These standards, intended to create a national set of standards to create uniformity in education throughout the United States, were frequently debated among households in the USA.     First Apple iPad
    The first Apple iPad was released on April 3, 2010. This was just a few months prior to my high school graduation. By the time I had completed college, it was a norm to see iPads used in a collegiate classroom. The iPad was not the first technological tablet released, however it has had the most mainstream use.
