    Settlers land in New York city, previously New Amsterdam.
  • The founding of Salem

    Some men moved up from a fishing colony and established Salem Massachusetts.
  • The founding of Boston

    Boston Massachusetts was established as a place for the Puritans as a place of religious freedom.
  • Harvard Uni, founded

    Harvard was founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts and was the first university in the New World
  • Hudson Bay Company

    The Hudson Bay Company was founded

    A conflict occurred between New England colonists and a Native American chief. They would later leave his head on a stick as a warning.
  • Bacon's Rebellion

    Ramps up slavery in Virginia because Nate Bacon got a little jealous of some dudes who were just minding their own beeswax.

    Yale University was founded in New Haven, Connecticut.
  • San Antonio founding

    The Spanish founded San Antonio
  • Blackbeard Dies

    Blackbeard is killed by Robert Maynard in North Carolina

    Religious devotion is revived in the Americas.

    French and Indian war

    Part of Seven Years War pitted the British colonists against the French colonists. Both sides were helped by different native American tribes.

    American Revolution

    The British Colonists are mad at the King because he's taxing them and being a butthead and won't read the letters they keep sending him. So they put another George in charge and fight the redcoats and everybody almost dies in the process.
  • Declaration of Independence

    All the boyos got together and said 'nuh-uh' and declared them some independence from George on the fourth of july
  • Articles of Confederation

    These sucked, everybody hated them, but they would pave the way for the constitution
  • Judiciary acts

    established the judiciary powers in the US.
  • Bill of Rights

    James Madison writes the Bill of Rights, telling people what they wanted to hear
  • Louisiana Purchase

    Tommy J. buys Louisiana from Napoleon and ponders over whether it is right or wrong.

    Burr gets a little upsetti spaghetti and shoots Hamilton in a duel and everybody hates him afterwards. That's what he gets for holding a grudge.

    Robert Fulton advanced transportation technology by improving the steamboat.

    The Brits were still salty about losing the American Revolution so they came back and burned down the White House.

    Andrew Jackson decided its a great time for an ethnic cleansing and forced about 60,000 natives from their homes out into the wild where many die.

    The Alamo is placed under siege by the Mexican army in San Antonio, a battle would later commence and all the defenders would be killed.

    The first wagon leaves Missouri. Is the start of Manifest Destiny.

    Tensions have finally piled up and the South have seceded from the union because they've decided that slavery is the way to go. They fight it out, and the South lose and now everything south of west virginia is named after horrible people.
