AIM
AIM was the first way for me to talk to someone over the internet. When this came out everyone in my school had one and that was a big thing that we would talk about in school. Even though it came out in 1997 my friends and I didn't start using it 2004 or 05. -
Playstation 2
This was one of the very first gaming systems I played growing up. My cousins, my brother,and I would take turns in my basement. We would play for hours until we were told to go play outside.We still have it today and my brother uses it all the time. In fact the game for this gaming system are barely 5 dollars. -
Myspace
Myspace I think for almost everyone it was there first social embrassing media. People look at myspace pictures and regret them. I first started myspace in 5th grade and it was another way to communicate with friends and family. -
Twitter
Twitter is my life is used everyday and I think in almost every teenagers day they use twitter. This is not the first social media I used but it is the most recent. -
The Apple Second Nano
For my birthday I asked for an ipod and I got the a bright pink second nano and I loved it. I love having someone to store all of my music or to even get music off a store you didn't have to walk to! It was portable and better than a portable cd player. -
Instagram
Instagram lets people upload pictures of them or where they are and can have filters with them. I use instagram and people like to be artsy or just upload pictures of events. It's a good app and people can see whats going on in peoples lives in a positive way. -
Facebook
I have been using facebook on and off since 7th grade. It wasn't the first social media but it sure was overpowering myspace. How it effect me over the past year is that I came in contact with a family memeber. It really made a different techonoly because people are being more cautious with what they say on the internet. -
Pinterest
Pinterest is used to show people how do things around the house or baking. Last yar I used pinterest a lot because I was redoing my room and a lot of the ideas were interesting and nice. -
iPhone4s
I got my first smart phone on my 16th birthday. I loved it! Excpet today it now has a crack screen and my first camera barely works. Sadly, I won't be able to get a new phone till my 18th birthday. This phone has given me a lot of help. It lets me look up things when I need things or when using iMessage and I can send emojis to people. I honestly love it and I could never go back to a flip phone. -
Facebook Instant Messager
With this coming out it made it easier for people to reconnect through facebook. You can get an app on your phone that is just a messager and not the ful facebook website. I now don't have to login in facebook to connect someone who doesn't have a phone and don't have to login on a computer. -
