    6th French army goes against German army by flanking and Germany begins losing

    Race to Sea

    French and German army kept reinforcing northern forces until they reach sea and had trench warfare

  • RMS Lusitania Sinking

    Causes mass hatred of German actions in US, ends up bringing US into war

  • Germany Resume USW

    German continues to blow up ships that have no real connections in the war with innocent people on board

  • Germany Knocks Russia out of war

    Russian Revolution prevented Russia from doing much so Germany forced them out of the war and got land
  • Period: to

    Spring Offensive

    This was the last of Germany's major offensives
  • Period: to

    Meuse-Argonne Offensive

    Largest battle and final Allied offense leading to German surrender

  • Armistice ends Hostilities

    Ultimately the end of the war
