Battle of Stångebro
King Sigismund returns to Sweden with a Polish army. He gets beat at Fort Stångebro. He then retreats with the army back the way he came from. If they won at fort Stångebro it could have very bad for Sweden with a large Polish army marching through Sweden causing a havoc everywhere. So it is a good thing they own not the Polish army. -

In this time Sweden decided to remain neutral and not join the war as they could have been in a lot of trouble being beside one of the major fighters on in this war. If they did join the devastation could have been terrible being beside Germany if they choose allies forces and not Germany. -

They could do it for same reasons as world war I and now Germany had Hitler who wanted all the Jews dead and would kill others to achieve this and japan was allied with Germany. So they were a bigger threat. -

- Sweden declines Germanys request to use its land as travel They could of done this because Sweden the if Germany traveled across Sweden the allies could of thought they were on the axis. They also could be part of the war. If this happened the allies could launch could an attack on Sweden. The devastation could be bad with Germany and USA fighting in Sweden.

This did not lead them to join WWII this was good for them but it was bad for the Jewish people in Poland because Germany now had easier access to Poland and more Jewish people were killed by Germany. The USA did not attack ether. -

It is surprizing how only in 1975 Sweden’s voting age came to the same as Canada both being such good places. -

The French king pays a ransom to prevent the sacking of Paris
This is important because if Sweden sacked Paris a war could wage between Sweden and Paris. This could of damaged Sweden badly and Paris would also be badly damaged. They probably would have more wars later in the future. This would be very bad because they would always hate each other and fight commonly. They would not be as strong of countries if this happened.
