    Susan Brownell Anthony was born on the farm in Adams Massachusetts. Her parents were Daniel and Lucy Read. Her dad was an abolitionist while her mom was a baptist. Susan was the second out of six children. She had three sisters and two brothers(Pioneer in Civil Rights).

    Great Britain and France could not access Paraguay. The cap;ital was blockaded and they had declared a war. In 1849 and 1859 a peace deal was agreed by Argentina. Uruguay withdrew the argentine troops. On this date Rosa was overthrown during the Battle of Caseros(Modern Uruguay).

    Susan began her tour on this evening in Mayville. She went to talk to town halls, churches, and dining rooms of hotels about how women should have the right to vote. Some people especially men scolded her or abused her for it. Others agreed with her and would help accomplish it. After 5months of going to 54 different countries and selling 20,000tracts she returned home(Nathan 35).

    Lincoln's Assassination
    John Wilkes Booth killed AbraHeham and two other successor's. Abraham went to Laura Keene's went to a performance called "Our American Cousin" in Washington at Ford's Theatre. Booth came into the booth Abraham was in and shot him inthe back of his head but Booth was able to escape. Abraham's doctor was there and with some other soldiers they brought him to a house across the street. At the house a surgeon said that he would die during the night(Abraham Lincoln's Assassanation).

    This day was when the 14th Amendment became a law. It gave citizenship to freedmen without talking aboout women. The southern kept voting booths closed. Negro citizens now had the right to vote(Nathan 38).

    She founded the National Women's Suffrage Association during this year. Susan founded this Association along with Elizabeth Cady Stanton. She had worked on Suffrage over 50years(Susan Brownell Anthony).

    This railroad connected the east coast to Calafornia. Based on how many people used this route it was going to give an economic abundance. Once this worked it changed the way people got around and lived. This was something Abraham Lincoln wanted to accomplish but ended up happening 4 years after he died(The First Transcontinental Rail Road).

On this day Bismarack became the prince and imperial chancellor of the German Empire in Versailles(Otto Van Bismarack).

    On this day Susan and her sisters went to the polling place which was the barbor shop which is known to be only for men. They went to register but they were not allowed. Susan shows them the constitution and they allow them to register. This was the first time she was able to vote(Nathan 39).

    In North Carolina Orville Wright piloted a plane for the 1st time. It covered 120feet of land in 12 seconds. On the same day three more flights occured but with Orville's brother obtaining the record flight of 59 seconds covering a total of 852feet. After this day they continued flying other places for longer times(First Flight).

    In Rochester New York she died on March 13, 1906. She died from pneumonia and heart failure in her house. Her body is located in the Mount Hope Cemetary in Rochester New York(Pioneer in Civil Rights). Susan spent her life to women suffrage and spent 72years struggling on women's rights(Susan Brownell Anthony).

    Amendment was added to Constitution
    Fourteen years after Susan's death an amendment was added to the constitution. The 19th amendment which was on Suffrage also known as the Susan B. Anthony Amendment was added.
