Meeting involving technology board, administration, parents and teachers. Goal is to gather feedback on middle school 1:1 iPad program. Find out what subject areas could implement blended learning within the coming year. -

Needs Analysis
Middle School Students wil be given a survey to identifiy their ipad usage, preferences, and needs with the classroom as well as their home. Analyze how much time is actually used to learn on their devices. -
CONTENT
Teachers and administrators will use the next 3 weeks to look at possbile content and analyze the iNOACOL Standards. They must use this time to research recommended course models. -
OPERATIONS
Project leaders will identify instructional team and complete vision and mission goals. They will be responsible for communicating their plan to stakeholders, and students. -
TEACHING/TECHNOLOGY
P.D. for middle school teachers: planning and modifying learning strategies and content., while tech support determines specifications for devices. -
OPERATIONS
Project members will design learning spaces and update school board on progress. Team will communicate to parents and students about next years blended learning space and the committment needed to fulfill their responsibilities. -
CONTENT
Over the next 30 days the platform, and coursework will be chosen. Preparation for content has begun as well as classroom configuration, and school facilitators. -
TEACHING/TECHNOLOGY
Teachers will recieve online PD for course simulation. They will establish PLC's amongst themselves according to subject matter. The tech team will also train the teachers with their devices. -
OPERATIONS
Tech team and admin address the upcoming role out and prepare the student/parent contracts for the middle school handbook. Finalize budget for the coming year. -
TECHNOLOGY
Finalize tech training for teachers over the summer, and make sure devices and networks are ready to support the role out. -
CONTENT, TEACHING, TECHNOLOGY, OPERATIONS
FInalize all aspects of launch, handbooks, platforms, and devices. Staff given access to the dashboards and recieve online orientation in preparation for the classroom launch.
