The people who lived during the Paleolithic were nomadic hunters-gatherers who used stone tools. They have left behind no large/permanent homes. Remains of this Era are very hard to find and often in caves. 2.5 million - 10,000 BC/BCE. -

Mesolithic Era
During the Mesolithic, sea levels gradually rose.
Doggerland is the name archaeologists have given to an area between Britain, the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark which is now under the North Sea. DoggerLand gradually flooded as a result of climate change and sea level rise from the melting of glaciers after the last ice age. -

Neolithic Era
The Neolithic marks the beginning of farming in Britain, around 4000 BC, and ends with the appearance of bronze-working around 2200 BC. Jobs were also created during this time.
