On August 20th 2012, Apple became the most valuable company ever, at the time it was almost 200 billion dollars more vauluable than the second largest company in the world, Exxon Mobile. Products evisioned and developed by Jobs still carry Apple forward today. Software from NeXT (Jobs's second computer company) is the basis for the OS X and IOS software used today.
