  • Public Law 93-112

    This law enacted that discriminated based on disability is prohibited. The purpose is to protect those who are in a federally funded setting that have a disability.

  • Public Law 94-142

    Law enacting education for all handicapped children, that have access to free and equal education with the accommodations that they need and require. School districts cannot turn a child away based on disability and have to provide them with the proper accommodations. This law also enacts the parents role in the school system.
