-He thought he found the West Indies, but what he actually found was the Bahamas.
-This voyage was important because not only did he find new land, he sparked some insarations for other explorers to sail. -
-Hernan Cortes explored Mexico, and conqored the Aztecs.
-The importance of his exploration would be that he helped spike the thoughts/want to find and explore new land. -
- De Pineda explored and mapped the route from Florida to Mexico. -First to map out the coast. -Arrived at Corpus Christy, giving it that name because he landed there on the Holiday. -He is important to exploration becasue he helped make more people to explore the Texas area to find more things (gold).

-Indians think he's a God because he shows up in gold armour, he says yes, but, when he dies, they can't bury him because they know if the Indians dig him up, the will get mad because they thought he was a God, so they threw him in the Mississippi River. -
