De Vaca's ship wrecked, making them hungry and dehydrated. He landed on Galveston TX. He met the Karankawas, Coahultecans. -

Moscoso was part of De Soto's expedition, making him Moscoso's leader. De Soto died of a fever, they threw him to a river so the indians wouldn't know he was dead. They thought he was a god. They discovered New Spain. -

Fray Marcos and Esteban went to explore texas because of the 7 cities of gold that De Vaca said he heard of. Esteban got killed by the indians. Fray marcos reported that he had seen the 7 cities of gold. -

Coronado's Expedition
The two cities he searched for was "Cibola" and "Quivira". His second guide was the Turk. He was killed because he lied to them about Quivira being a city of gold. Is important because they were the first Europeans to see the Grand Cnyon.
