Devaca was with Narevaez, his leader, and his crew. He was trying to get out of Florida so they builded barges but they got caught in agale and shiprecked onto what is now Galveston Island.

When De vaca shiprecks on Galveston Island he meets the carankawas and they(the carankawas) were very nice to De Vaca and his very few men. De Vaca stays alive by becoming a medicine men and peforms surgery in front of the indians which is new.

Coonado searched for Quivera and the other one i dont know. Coronados guide was Turk he was an indian and told them about a golden city but Turk was later killed because everything that he said was a lie. Coronado discovered the grand and palo duro canyon and he really didbt have an importance in history.
