    Estaban was a slave Fray Marcos took with him. During their journey, they encountered the Zuni tribe. They burned, hung, tortured, and killed the Zuni. Fray Marcus reported back that he had seen Cibola (the seven cities of gold) which turned out to be a major lie.

    On this expedition DeSoto was the real leader, but he died from disease. That's when Moscoso, took over. His purpose was to explore the map Pineda explored. They found nothing but indian tribes. He then reported back that there was no significance in America.
