It was built on the premise that people are separated by six degrees and created a feature that showed everyone's connected making meeting people less intimidating. In 2011, the site abandoned user profiles as users switched to MySpace and they transitioned into a social entertainment site.

Companies could post job and career listings, look for employees on the network and advertise on LinkedIn.
