Arab Springs was an anti-government movement to call out the standards of living in Tunisia which involved protests that used the platforms of Twitter and Facebook. -
A post on Facebook titled “A Love Note to Black People” said “Our Lives Matter, Black Lives Matter.” After this was posted the response “#BlackLivesMatter” was posted and that is how the movement was born. The movement has continued to gain traction and fight for rights of the African-American community.

During the election of 2016 Russia used Facebook, Twitter and Youtube to spread propaganda about trump in an attempt to sway the election.

This movement was introduced in 2006 by Tarana Burke but really took off in 2007 when Alyssa Milano called out Harvey Weinstein for sexual assault and harassment.
