    Twitter revamp launch- The 2011 Twitter revamp switched to a “fly design” which allowed for easier use and advertisement. This revamp altered the way the timeline of tweets are shown and added a connect and discover tab to go along with the home tab.

    Tinder Launch- Tinder, a dating platform was launched in 2012. This allows users to find singles in close proximity. Users can choose who they talk to and this has led to many relationships since its launch.

    Facebook buys Instagram- Facebook purchases Instagram in 2012 for $1 million in cash and stock.

    Tinder is an American geosocial networking and online dating application that allows users to anonymously swipe to like or dislike other users' posted profiles, which generally comprise their photo, a short bio, and a list of their personal interests. Once two users have "matched", they can exchange messages.
