Lots of slaves went to Mexico to be free. So in 1861 the civil war happen. And the presdint told if they win the war they be free.

    The U.S bought Louisiana from France in 1803. Then should it be a slave state or not. Then they made a bill that slaves are aloud to be free at the age of 25 years old. Senator William Pinkney of Maryland had a argued that this new state would be a problem of the old laws free and non-free states. They had the Tallmadge amendment passed but the Senate rejected it. Then there was a issue of the two-part compromise. First Missouri had to be a free state and be a non free state. So they made the 36

    Nat Turner was 21 and he was very intelligent and religious man. Day after day he would see vision or signs of god. Nat Turner was a leader of the slave revellion in 1831. He lead a group of about 60 to 70 slaves. He began his rebllion on the Travis plantation and killed the Travis family. When the Nat Turner rebellion started they called the militia and they bought back 3,000 men to stop Nat Turner. Alot of slaves where killed of this some where free some where not.

Then he made a book called," The Confessions of Nat Turner ". To day nobody knows if the book is real or not.
