  • The Missouri Compromise

    The Missouri compromise was important part in history. It was about should slaves be allowed in the new state of Missouri, North and South were fighting about the rights to slavery. The South want to keep their slaves and the north wanted to get rid of slavery on their side but there was a big compromise about slavery. So they divide the south and north up and got the 36’ 30’ line any land lying on the south board will be allowed with slavery and any land lying on the north is not allowed slave
  • Wiiliam Llyod Garrison

    William Lloyd Garrison was determined to end slavery when he went to jail. He is famous for writing the "The Libertor" and he also made a Anti- Slavery program.
  • Nat Tuner Rebellion

    Nat Turner led a Group of slaves about 60 to 70 killing 60 white men, women and childred. also took place in virginia. About 200 innocent slaves were killed because of Nat Tuners Rebellion white men were scaried of slaves so the pass laws also know has the black code black wanted freedom more then anything.

    The Dred Scott was a slave for the blow family lived in the north for 12 years married another slave name Harriet Robinson. When his own went back to the south Dred didn’t not attempt to escape his own. The next year after they move back from the south the doctor died so Mrs.Emerson hired them out to another family. But he was tired of being a slave so he sue and after all he went thought he finally got his freedom in 1857. May 6,1857 was the day he went to court
