    The cotton gin was created by Eli Whitney. The very first cotton gin mashines were used by slaves to seperate the cottonseed from the actual cotton faster than by hand. It could make 50 pounds a day of pure clean cotton. It is not known exactly what day it was invented.

If they were to escape from their masters were passed by the united states. Congress it was nicknamed "the bloodyhound law" after the House they led to track down run away slaves
