    Simone knew that the Mecca was where she needed to be. Simone planned on being involved in all aspects of Howard University while she attended.

    Attending the Mecca!
    Simone begins her journey at the Mecca and Is ready to make great changes to the already great community of Howard University. Simone does not want to be just another student, she is determined to advocate for the women of the quad and all others. Simone plans to gives a voice to the freshman community. She joins the Band upon her arrival at Howard, she also gets involved in the Ladies of the Quad group and is actively involved in the student council for freshmans.

    Simone is initiated into her bandline Fraternity. Simone encourages the belief of unity and togetherness. By joining her bandline fraternity Simone was given a second family, something she encourages all students to do. Join a group, fraternity or sisterhood, It will benefit you greatly.
  • Receiving Honors + Community service.

    Simone begins to help out in her community by starting her community service hours at the local school by helping younger students odo their homework. Simone also receives an award for being on the deans list for her first semster of school.

    Simone notices the issues in the Quadrangle an around campus first hand and decided that something must be done! Simone goes around campus and begins to get students persepctives on these everday issues that we face and decided that she wants to be the voice of the students!

    Simone more seriously approaches the issues at hand and is getting a positive response from her higher officials and collegues. Students are advocating for simone to take office because of her attentive approach to their issues.
