Robert Boyle was born January 25th of 1627. He was a natural philosopher, chemist, physicist, and an inventor. He was the founder of modern chemistry, though his research was on alchemy. Also was one of pioneers of the scientific method and he was best known for the Boyle’s law. He was the founder of modern chemistry, working with elements and compounds. He invented the first air pump.
