    Enlightenment was a period when philosiphers used reason and applied it to the government. some importaint philosiphers are Thomas Hobbes, John Locke, Rousseau, and Montesquieu. Rating out of 10: 3
    all philosiphers did towards the revolution was give the people more rights. Other than that they did not contribute much toward the revolution.
