Proclaimtion of 1763
The proclaimtion was made after the French and Indian War happened. It delclared that all lands to the west or northwest hea of the rivers that lead to the Altanic Ocean were off limits to colonists for the Indians laid there. The colonists were mad about the boundaries because they fought for the land fair and square in which they thought they deserved the right to expand. -
The Sugar Act
The Sugar Act caused the raising of taxes on sugar and molasses plus other goods, This made the colonists mad for they thought they should not deserve this taxes causing corruption. -
Currency Act
Colonists back then had trouble paying what was needed to e paid. So there were notes or bills that paid for certain things like interest, mortage, etc. Then in 1764, the Parliament decied to stop the issue of any new bills to be printed which in an end result made the colonists mad for that was all they have to trade with Britian and others. -
Stamp Act
The Stamp Act was applied to do certain duties and others in Great Britian plus the colonies. This related to trade, protection, security, plantations, and more. For when something was used or needed, it was to be paid to the majesty and this upset the colonists for they did not need the extra rates added on to taxes. -
Quatering Act
The Quatering act was about British troops coming over to "protect" the colonists. And because of this, taxes were raised for the colonists for they had to pay the army. even though they did not need protecting and this made them outraged. -
The Stamp Act Congress
What the Stamp Act Congress was a meeting of 9 out of the 13 colonies. For they thought that is was only right that they should decide to do what they want with the colonies. That was what it was supposed to mean, but they never did stand up to the crown making colonists made for they needed them. -
Declaratory Act
The Declaratory Act was supposed to secure the rights and depenedence of the colonists. For that meant the crown and the majesty had allm rights to plantations, cities, etc. that of which the colonists owned. This made the colonists mad for they worked and they did not do anything for them. -
Townshend Act
It was a raise on taxes on glass, lead, tea, paint, etc. For they believed( the crown) that they had certain duties ot obtain to and should be paying more for what we did. So they raised taxes more making the colonists mad for they did not have that kind of money like they did.
