Road to Revolution 5.3 and 5.4

  • Continental Congress

    The first Continental Congress in the U.S met in Philadelphia with the British government. They voted to send a "Statement Of Grievances and also voted to Boycott all British trades.
  • 1,000 of Redcoats Boston

    General Gage brings thousands of British soldiers to Boston and more coming at any moment of the day.
  • Midnight ride of Paul Revere

    Paul Revere road his horse through Lexington and Concord to warn the Sons Of Liberty that the Redcoats are coming, the Redcoats are coming. So they all prepared for the British.
  • Battles of Lexington and Concord

    The first battle/war was in Lexington and the British took control first which was the shot heard around the town. Then the Americans took control of the second battle/war stopping the British and forcing them to return back to Boston.
  • Capture of fort Ticonderoga

    Benedict Arnold and Ethan Allen captured fort Ticonderoga, and they ended up getting all the supplies inside the fort even their cannons. Taking America to a good victory win.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    The British and the Americans fought on Bunker hill and they were ready for each other except the Americans. They ran out of ammunition leading to a British victory but William Prescott sated this " Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes".
