Midnight Ride of Paul Revere

Apr 18, 1775

He rode to warn the Sons of Liberty that "The British are coming...The British are coming". This all took place in Lexington and Concord.

Battles of Lexington and Concord

This battle of Lexington was known as the 1st American Revolutionary War and British led it to a victory. Ralph Waldo Emerson called it the"shot heard around the world". The battle of Concord had Americans stopping British and forcing them to retreat back to Boston.

Capture of Ticonderoga

May 10, 1775

Benedict Arnold and Ethan Allen had captured the fort during night. While the Americans had captured needed supplies and ammunition from the fort.

Second Continental Congress Meet

May 10, 1775

The Continental army was created and led George Washington. The Oliver branch petition was sent asking king george and they had printed money ,set up post offices.

Battle of Bunker Hill

Jun 16, 1775

Instead of actually fighting on Bunker Hill they fought on Breed's Hill and American had ran out of ammunition which led British to a victory. William Prescott had announced "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes."

Washington Arrives on Outskirts of Boston
