The battle of Lexington was the 1st battle of American Revolutionary War also known as "the shot heard around the world" spoken by Ralph Waldo Emerson after the British had won. The Battle of Concord was when the Americans stopped the British and forced them to go back to Boston. -

This is when the Americans captured the fort, lead by Benedict Arnold & Ethan Allen. They took materials from inside the fort including cannons which leads the Americans to victory. -

This was the time that they created the Continental Army and had George Washington as the leader. They also decided to send an Olive Branch to the King asking him to protect their rights, in return he sent 30,000 Hessian soldiers. -
