    The thid estate which populated 97% of the population revolted againist the monarchy government in France because they were paying high taxes, prieces for bread were too high and did not have a say in the government. The Monarchy tried to do nothing about it, but the people grew angry and kidnapped the queen and king to Paris.

    Russia
    totalitarian Bolsheviks led by Lenin revolt against Aleksandr Kerensky because they want more power in Russia. Soon, Stalin will come to power and lead these uprisers. Kerensky is unable to hold the people any longer because they have ran out of money after world war l. Then they are overthrown by Stalin and his people.

    Mohandas K. Gandhi and his followers protest the English salt monopoly in India. But, with this revolt, a hindu kills Gandhi because of his "salt march"
  • Egypt

    The officer caste starts the uprising in Egypt because they have a terribel government system. But Egypt still remains a dictatorship for over fifty years.
  • Cuba

    Fidel Castro overthrows dictator Fulgencio Batista because promotes corruption and repression. But the dictator at the time is not as powerful as Castro and Castro is able to turn the political status around and make ordinary citizens powerful.
  • Iran

    Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini take over shah because they do not have enough power. The government is unable to do anything and becomes the leader for the revolt. The next thing they do is kill people.
  • Nicaragua

    Middle class people rebell against the dicator, Anastasio Somoza Debayle in hope for more power and say in the country. Even though the people fought, their leader was still re-elected, Daniel Ortega.
  • Philippines

    The people want to go away from a dicatorship in their country. The people did a peacefull revolution and no harm was done on either side of the battle.
