    The king troops reached lexington massachuetss when they heared the town they saw 70 minuteman drawn up in lines on the village. Eight minuteman were killed and ten more were wounded only one british soldiers was injured.

    The british Thomas gage sent 2,400 british soldiers up the hill. They waited a few minutes and then began to fire at the red coats. The colonist lost 450 men and the british suffered over 1,000 casualites.

He also didnt have his british officers since they were in philadelphia so they coudnt meet the american troops then he surrended on october 17, 1777.

    The armies of lafayette and washigton moved south toward yorktown. The french naval force defeated a british fleet and then blocked the entrance to the chespeake bay. That meant the british sea routes were blocked. That made 17,000 frech american surronding the british and bombarding them day and night. A month later they surrenderd.

    The american revolutionary war was ended. The british recognized their independence of the United States. Also the colonial empire of great britain was destroyed in North american and the US boundaries were established.
