The battle at Lexington and Concord sparked the start of the revolution.

    Fought in Massachusetts, american patriots had been defeated this was the first time that they showed they could hold their own against the superpower of the time during the siege of Boston. The battle was a tactical victory, british sustained twice as many casualties.

This battle helped the Americans a large amount on supplies such as food, and clothing. The General led his men across the icy Delaware river this was a part of being able to surprise the garrison, leading to a victory and getting the moral that the continental army needed.

This would lead Washington to send troops to defend a invasion American focused on preventing the British from controlling the Delaware River, trying to prevent supplies to pass to the British army. This event was very significant during the revolution because the revolutionaries needed the Capital to fight back on a political level.

    The two armies came face to face on the farm of John Freeman that had been abandoned. The battle had been swaying for a while until Burgoyne that had German troops under his orders to help the faltering British front line. This forced Americans to retreat but this was still a win for the Americans because the British suffered almost twice as many casualties as the Americans and this would delay the British from reaching Albany.

    A winter camp where George Washington proved his worth and with the help of Friedrich Wilhelm made a world class fighting force capable of fighting the British army. George Washington and his army arrived at Valley forge and made huts and had lived in this harsh condition that made them men and the leadership of Washington made them soldiers. This was very important for the revolution and this is because without such a force that was made at Valley Forge there would have been a large struggle.

    The allied armies, Americans and French allies marched hundreds of miles to Yorktown. This had surprised the British in a siege that lasted three weeks the British had been outnumbered and outfought this ultimately turned the tide of the war for independence. This was a very important event in the revolution because this and many other reasons made the British surrender, this leads to the end of British rule and a new nation, The United States Of America.

    The treaty ended the war for independence and made boundaries for the new nation. The continental congress had a small group of statesman travel to Europe to negotiate the peace treaty with the British this group consisted of John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, John Jay, and Henry Laurens. This is what stops the fight for independence and made it a reality this is why the Treaty of Paris is important in the Revolutionary war.
