    700 British soldiers came to Lexington in the night of 4/18/1775 when Paul Revere did the famous midnight ride. This started off the revolution as the colonists won this battle. It was the shot heard around the world.

    Clean Sweep of Fort Ticonderoga

    A small colonial group infiltrated Fort Ticonderoga and took it over with out any major incident. This helped take over New York

    The Battle of Bunker Hill

    The defense of Boston led by William Prescott. Tactical victory for England and colonists had heavy casualties.

    This was in New Jersey after the crossing of the Delaware. It was an American victory over the Hessian troops.

    British forces from all over were hoping to meet up and dominate but the Americans anticipated these maneuvers and captured them causing a turning point in the war.

    Located in North Carolina, the patriots surrounded the British and made their attack. This was during their southern campaign so their leaders would be there. The colonists took out the commander and the loyalists surrendered

    The Great Siege of Yorktown

    The French landed some troops the help the Americans and they marched to Virginia where the month of battle took place. The french had their strategies, we had ours and we pulled out the victory. The British surrendered and this created the Treaty of Paris.
